Executive Director Kayla Nott

Executive Director Kayla Nott is a licensed special education instructor with 21 years’ experience. She has experience in high and low incidence special education. She has master’s degrees as an Autism Specialist (University of Missouri), high incidence special education (Wichita State), and low incidence special education (Wichita State). She completed additional graduate work at the University of Kansas focusing on postsecondary transitions for individuals with low incidence disabilities. She has experience in the ABA field, public schools, and the mental health sector.

After leaving the public schools she realized there is a large gap in services for individuals with disabilities who live at home. Although there are services locally, adults are still stuck in situations where life skills are needed in the home or community. Regression can happen quickly, and there may be a lack of support. Kayla’s passion is to create a service where individuals with disabilities can learn and thrive in their homes and communities with support from their families.
